Farewell Corrado, farewell friend

Created by Atoosa one year ago

A calm, kind and dignified man with a broad smile. Curious with many questions about Iran and the Middle East, something he was interested to learn at the beginning of our friendship to get to know us better and the land we came from.
In our friendly gatherings, he enthusiastically welcomed my home-cooked Iranian dishes and asked curiously about the ingredients and preparation methods. Of course, in such occasions, the appetizer was usually one of his delicious homemade breads with butter. The smell of bread would waft in the kitchen and double the appetite.

I always enjoyed his art and looking at his painting around the house whenever I visited. I will never forget my excitement on the day when Karin took my pictures so that he could choose one to paint. The portrait you drew of me is also something that I will remember you by.
